The Coach House Sleeps up to 16You don’t have to be in a band to be able to sample the luxury accommodation and hospitality enjoyed by some of the top recording artists in the world! Use us as a base to explore the beautiful Wye Valley, Symonds Yat and the Black Mountains or visit Cardiff, Bristol and Bath all of which can be reached in under an hour from Monmouth by car. The song which continually tops the polls as the most popular song of all time - 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - was recorded here as well as two of Queen's best selling Lp's, 'Night at the Opera' and 'Sheer Heart Attack'. Oasis spent six weeks here in the summer of 1995 whilst recording 'What's the Story Morning Glory' in one of our studios whilst Nigel Kennedy recorded in the other. The Coach House Accommodation features:
Relax in front of the wood burning stove in the main lounge after a day walking along the Offas Dyke path or in the Wye Valley. Enjoy spending time with your friends and family - the main lounge and dining area are very spacious and great for get togethers. But enjoy the option of being able to relax in hte comfort and privacy of your own large bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen and the lounge is equipped with satellite TV, DVD and video players along with a stereo system. Each bedroom has its own TV, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities. Wheelchair access is available into two of the double bedrooms. The Coach House is available for short breaks of 3 or 4 nights or stay for a full seven days. If you don’t wish to cook on holiday Monmouth has a wide selection of top restaurants from fabulous pubs to award winners like the Walnut Tree, The Bell at Skenfrith and the Stonemill all a short drive away. The Coach House is perfect for big family getaways over Christmas and New Year or for other family occasions. Children are welcome although parents cannot allow them to be unsupervised as we have livestock in our surrounding farmland.
