Closer to home are the charming Welsh Market towns of Chepstow and Monmouth, and even closer is Tintern with its impressive Abbey towering from the valley floor sitting stately by the river. Running along each side of the valley are the famous Offas Dyke path and Wye Valley Walk, both accessible on foot from this property.
Good food is another reason to holiday in this area. Monmouthshire offers numerous attractive venues, ranging from pubs with simple, tasty food to restaurants with Michelin star ratings. There is definitely an energy in the air in the cuisine department probably due to its proximity to the food capital of the area, Abergavenny. Llandogo boasts a very good local grocery shop, a pub which serves food, a church and a bus service.
