Holiday Apartment Sleeps 2 in comfort
This Gower holiday apartment is situated on the vilage green at Llanmadoc. Wagtails is a small one double-bedroomed ground floor self-catering apartment.
It's double bed is en-suite, and the bathroom is spotlessly clean and modern. We insist on quality beds/bedding, and this bed was bought in Aug 07 and has a quality pocket sprung mattress.
There is a small lounge into kitchenette (with hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster). We provide fresh bed-linen & towels in our price.
The apartment might also suit guests who suffer from hypo-allergenic / asthmatic conditions, since we have minimised the soft-furnishings (laminate flooring throughout).
Our usual guests are couples who don't want the expense of a full sized cottage, but still want quality and comfort as well as a good location. There is a sofabed in the lounge should you need to squeeze the extra person in, e.g. a child (no additional charge).
We have tried to provide a few little home comforts to help you enjoy your stay such as a bedroom PURE DAB Digital alarm/radio, decent Denby crockery, skytv with movies and sports channels, (the TV also has a DVD/VHS - and we provide a few movies).
No dogs, no smoking.
Wagtails has its own parking and front door entrance (no shared entrance). We can offer a laundry service (wash and dry) for a very nominal additional charge. Wagtails is literally a one minute walk to the local community shop (great local produce) and 10 mins walk down to the local beaches at Whiteford/Llanmadoc/Broughton beaches. One of Gower's truly stunning circular maritime coastal walks awaits you at Cwm Ivy Woods (NT) just down Cwm Ivy lane. You can also walk over Llanmadoc Hill to Llangennith and catch the hourly bus back to the front door.

2 mins to the Village shop, 10 min’s drive to Knelston petrol station and bakery/shop/PO.
500 yds walk to Whiteford or Llanmadoc beaches [5-10 mins]
Local area:
3-4 min’s walk to the local real ale pub and excellent pub food / Sunday lunches 5-10 min walking distance from the beach/woods.
Only 10-12 min’s drive to other beaches at Port Eynon or Horton, Oxwich Bay or Llangennith (great surfing), 15 min’s to Three Cliffs Bay or 20 min’s by car to Caswell, Langland.
Birdwatchers paradise - Greater Spotted Woodpeckers in rear garden.
Surfing for the kids off the beach.
Hill walking available over Llanmadoc Hill, and to Rhossili Down or Llangennith from the cottage.
Superb idyllic spot away from it all and not too close to more touristy areas of Gower (e.g. Rhossili Village, Llangennith Beach) but close enough to get to them if you want
