Mulberry Hill Cottages Gower are situated at Penmaen halfway along the south coast of the Gower Peninsula, overlooking the award winning Three Cliffs Bay.
Mulburry Hill Cottage and the School House are two self-contained holiday cottages situated within the Victorian walled garden of the owner's property in the village of Penmaen.
The Gower Cottage
Mulberry Hill Cottage is a detached cottage situated in the Victorian walled garden of the owner's property, and in Victorian times housed the generator for the main house. The cottage was extensively refurbished in 2008.
Our Gower cottage has central heating in addition to a log burning stove in the main living area. All fuel costs and linen are included within the weekly rent. Small pets are allowed by arrangement only.
There is one double bedroom, with a modern en-suite bathroom, furnished with bath and shower, as well as underfloor heating. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, refridgerator and microwave.
The School House Cottage
The School House is located in the same Victorian walled garden as Mulberry Hill Cottage. The School is a self-contained cottage that is attached to the owner's house. In Victorian times the children of the main house would have been tutored by their private governess in the school.
The holiday accommodation now provides a kitchen/living room which includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker and fridge. The living area is furnished with occasional chairs and television and DVD. The dining area has a table and chairs, and hi-fi.
The old school room has been converted into a bedroom and living area with views up to Cefn Bryn and down to Three Cliffs Bay. Narrow stairs lead up to the bed/sitting room and then down again to the bathroom with shower and bath.
