This Snowdonia Caravan, Camping and Touring Park Rhyd y Galen is a quiet and truly beautiful park only 15 minutes from the Snowdon footpath. There are beautiful views from the site.
It is a tranquil destination, perfect for family holidays. It is ideally situated for access to the outstanding views, leisure and outdoor activities offered by the area.
The mountains and lakes are on your doorstep, the seaside is a short drive away, as are major attractions such as Caernarfon Castle and Portmeirion.

Location
Rhyd y Galen is located in rural North Wales close to Snowdonia.
Directions:
If travelling along the North Wales Coast road A55, leave at junction 11. Take the first exit on the roundabout, then turn right at the mini roundabout. Follow signs towards Caernarfon on the B4366 for 3 miles. At the next roundabout you need to go straight ahead (2nd exit)towards Bethel. Proceed through the village of Bethel towards Caernarfon. Half a mile after leaving the village, the entrance to Rhyd y Galen is on the left.
If you are approaching from South and Mid Wales: follow the A470 to Trawsfynydd. Follow signs for Porthmadog (A487). From Porthmadog follow the A487 to Caernarfon. In Caernarfon take the B4366. We are on the right 1.5 miles from the outskirts of Caernarfon.
If approaching from the A5, continue through Betws y Coed for 17 miles towards Bangor. At roundabout take first exit and follow signs towards Caernarfon on the B4366 for 3 miles. At the next roundabout you need to go straight ahead (2nd exit)towards Bethel. Proceed through the village of Bethel towards Caernarfon. Half a mile after leaving the village, the entrance to Rhyd y Galen is on the left.
Seasonal Pitches
We have seasonal pitches available from now to 31st October. The price for 2009 will be £1000. This will include electric, hot water, awning and all visits. The caravan can remain on the grass pitch for the season.
