This Barmouth Holiday Cottage is a delicious little gem of a cottage, hidden away from the crowds & passing traffic it’s the ideal place for a cosy romantic break.
Direct access to the river & woodland & path to local pub. Shop & Italian restaurant only 5 mins walk. Fabulous sandy beach less than a mile away with fantastic sunsets.
The cottage, attached to the owner’s home is traditionally furnished & fully equipped, linen, towels supplied. Old beams & chintz. Sitting room has wood burner, the bedroom has a king size four poster and en suite shower room.
The conservatory overlooks the garden and has dining area and armchairs so you can relax with a good book. TV. DVD & Video recorder. Dishwasher. Full gas central heating £25 a week (included in Special Offers). First basket of logs free. One dog welcome £25 extra. Plenty of safe parking.
Barmouth’s location on the west coast of North Wales and lying between a mountain range and the sea on the mouth of the river Mawddach is arguably one of the most beautiful locations in Wales. It rests just within the south west corner of Snowdonia National Park and is seeped in a history rich with connections to the shipping and slate industries.
The old town is well worth a visit with its steep steps and slate-roofed cottages on the side of a mountain. The harbour is beautiful and you can walk across the spectacular Barmouth Bridge spanning the river which can be an ideal activity for an evening stroll.
The beach is large and perfect for sunbathing and games and surfers can often be seen depending on the swells and time of year. Kids love the beach yet its size means those wanting to get away and relax in peace and quite can do so easily.
Please Note the cottage is for 2 adults + 1 child OR baby, Z bed OR cot in main bedroom OR downstairs in open plan sitting room. Not suitable for the infirm.
