Gaerwen Farm is a 200 acre family run working dairy/mixed farm, situated in a little hamlet called Ynys, just four miles from Criccieth and the beaches. Come and experience a short cottage break and enjoy the quietness of rural life in North Wales where you are welcome to participate in farm activities- feed the calves, watch the milking, and perhaps play with the dogs!
The Farmhouse cottage sleeps 7 and the Farm cottage sleeps 6 + two cots.
Children are especially welcome. The two cottages have a garden with garden furniture and a BBQ where the children can play safely, with car parking adjacent.
Cot and high chair available on request (No extra charge) Baby sitting is also available. Well behaved pets are also welcome!

Farmhouse Cottage: Sleeps 7
A traditional Welsh self catering farmhouse built of massive stones, oozing charm and character, in which a famous Welsh bard once lived. Comfortably furnished and personally decorated to provide a warm homely atmosphere. The lounge has open beams ad an inglenook fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped, and the dining room has a 6ft dining table and chairs. Hot water is available at all times, and the bathroom has a bath/shower and a shaver point.There is an en-suite master double bedroom, a second double bedroom, and a twin bedded room, all neatly furnished. Bed linen is free and beds are made up for your arrival.
Farm Cottage: sleeps 6 plus 2 cots
A modern self contained extension to the Farmhouse comfortably furnished and personally decorated to provide a warm homely atmosphere, with views of Snowdonia and the mountains, and distant views of the sea. The kitchen/diner is well equipped and has a pine table with seating for six. The lounge has a colour TV/Video and a few games and light reading material are provided. The hall has a small storage space.
Again, hot water is available at all times and the bathroom has a bath/shower, and a shaver point. There is a master double bedroom, with portable TV, a double bedroom, and a further bedroom with two single beds. Again, all bedrooms are neatly furnished with matching dcor and bedding. Bed linen is free and beds are made up for your arrival.
Both cottages are equipped with electric convector heating. There is access to both cottages from the car park via a flat concrete path. They both also have a downstairs bathroom. Both cottages include an iron /ironing board, hairdryers and blankets.
Electricity (by meter reading) and the use of a tumble dryer is extra.
