A self-contained 16th century stone cottage, set amid ancient sites of Celtic heritage, in the heart of northern Snowdonia, makes for a memorable and unsurpassable summer or winter break-away. This special place is a haven for honey-mooners or for those in search of peaceful spiritual regeneration.
Beautifully situated between the mountains and the sea, we are served by good public transport, can assist with local information and can assure a life-enhancing experience.
Our comfortable, warm and outstanding conversion has all modern facilities while maintaning a real sense of the old world. We provide private safe parking for guests, and can also cater for you if you so desire (We even do packed lunches).
The gentle giants of the Carneddau range are probably Snowdonia National Park's best-kept secret and a paradise for the serious walker who wants to stay away from the bustle of central Snowdonia. Here, the sound of a raven or a wild pony may be your only company to enjoy the spectacular roof-of-the-world views.
Within easy driving distance is a widerange of many places of interest - on the north coast, Conwy with one of Edward I's great castles and its complete belt of mediaeval town walls.
Nearby is Bodnant Garden, Wales' finest formal garden (over 80 acres) with its
famous laburnum arch. Just to the south is Llanrwst, a bustling market town with many surprises, and then Betws-y-Coed "the gateway to Snowdonia".
There are two pubs near the cottage, one of them within easy walking distance (l/4mile) and one a 16th century village inn.
