of North Wales.This self catering property is set on the banks of the River
Conwy in the historic National Trust village of Ysbyty Ifan (left)
which is located in a quiet and secluded valley in the Snowdonia
National Park near Betws-y-Coed. It is ideal for those looking
for a relaxing place to stay, whilst being only 6 miles from
the facilities of Betws-y-Coed, with its many shops, attractions,
and places to eat.
This self catering cottage is the ideal base for enjoying the
many activities and attractions of Snowdonia and the rest of
North Wales. The area is perfect for walking, climbing, mountain
biking, and pony trekking. The beaches of the North Wales coast
and Cardigan Bay are also within easy reach.There are many places to visit including the National Trust
properties of Ty Mawr Wybrnant, Bodnant Gardens, Penrhyn Castle
and Plas Newydd. The castles of Conwy, Caernarfon, Beaumaris
and Dolwyddelan are all within easy reach, as are the steam railways
of Ffestiniog, Snowdon Mountain, and the Welsh Highland Railways.
At the end of the day you can relax in the garden with its riverside
views. Guests are welcome to visit the owner's nearby farm (by
arrangement) to see farm life at first hand.The map below shows that Minafon is centrally located for exploring
Snowdonia and the whole of North Wales, and is easily accessible
