It is open the first Saturday and Sunday of every month and is also open on Bank Holiday Sundays. We will also open for groups:
White Water Rafting
This is one of the main attractions in the Bala area and is a very well known site for the sport. The canoeing world championships were held on the River Tryweryn in 1981 which is the river that is used for the rafting. It's great fun and there is no chance of you staying dry!
If you don't fancy getting wet you could always go down to watch others have a go which is almost as much fun as going down. There is a lovely path which runs beside the river so you can have a laugh watching other people get wet. If you get tired of walking why not stop for a picnic on one of their many picnic sites or visit their cafe.
All you need to bring with you is a swim suit/trunks and a towel, the rest is all there for you.
