Blaen y Foel holiday cottage is cosy and welcoming in a secluded bird-filled garden, surrounded by fields. It is situated between the mountains and the sea on the foothills of Snowdonia, just outside the village of Nebo - 8 miles south of the historic town of Caernarfon. Snowdon can be seen from the garden and the beautiful sandy beaches of the North Wales coast are only a short drive away.
Superb mountain views and magnificent walking from the gate to the nearby Nantlle Ridge, make this a special location for everyone in the family. Blaen y Foel is central for exploring the best of Snowdonia's mountains and coast - spectacular walking, industrial and archaeological heritage, super attractions, steam trains, castles and villages and miles of lovely coastline.
The Isle of Anglesey is only a 35 minute drive (where you can take a day trip to Ireland from Holyhead), and the Llyn Peninsula is on our doorstep. Your only problem will be finding the time to fit everything in!
Blaen y Foel is a modern, brightly furnished cottage - 2-storey and adjacent to our house. It is completely self-contained, private and is all electric. Downstairs is a small shower room (electric shower) next to a separate toilet and bathroom.
The sitting room/dining area is warm, comfortable and spacious with 2 large night storage heaters, combined tv and dvd player, and plenty of seating with excellent bird watching over the garden!
The kitchen is compact and modern with a fridge, cooker, microwave and all usual equipment.
Upstairs are two comfortable double rooms and one room with an adult size bunkbed(sleeps 2), sleeping 6 altogether. All rooms have washbasins and supplementary heating. The main bedroom overlooks the sheltered private garden and surrounding mountains .
We provide lots of holiday guides, maps, reading books and historical information on Welsh culture to help visitors make the most of their holiday.

Prices start at £275 per week. Most of the year is £295 weekly. £450 per week 23 July to 3 September 2011.
