Beudy Bach Self Catering Cottage, in Carmel near Caernarfon, Snowdonia sleeps 6, is a superbly decorated converted barn sitting next to the owners property on a family run Snowdonia small holding of approximately 2 acres, home to sheep, lambs, hens and a cockerel.
The cottage boasts spectacular views of the North Wales coastline : Anglesey, the Menai Straits, Lleyn Peninsula and even the famous Wicklow Mountains of Ireland on a clear day. There is plentiful parking spaces, a slated patio area to the front with furniture and a footpath around the cottage. Visitos are welcome to access the owners decking area and children's play area in the garden, and use the secure storage facility that is available.
Beudy Bach endeavours to complement old features such as wooden flooring, slate lintels, oak beamed ceilings, oak staircase and stone wall features with modern home comforts to make your stay comfortable and pleasurable.
The self catering holiday property comprises of :-
Solid oak kitchen with granite worktop, cooker and hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
Spacious lounge with comfortable leather three piece suite, multi fuel burner, freeview television with integrated dvd player, music hi-fi system, hatch opening to the kitchen and French windows overlooking the slated patio area.
Bathroom with power shower, pedestal sink and toilet.
Double bedroom furnished with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
Stable backdoor opening to the side of the property.
The first floor is accessed by stairs leading from the lounge straight into a double dormer bedroom with en-suite toilet and pedestal sink.
A smaller door leads from this bedroom through to a twin bedded dormer bedroom furnished with wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
There is oil central heating throughout the cottage and all linen, towels, electricity and hot water are included. For two weekly lets clean linen and towels will be available for the second week.
A welcome basket of food and beverages is included for guests and fresh free-range eggs are available in the hen-house! A fire starter pack is also included, additional kindling and firewood are available at a small cost.
Local attractions
This picturesque corner of North Wales hosts a variety of attractions, activities, views and entertainment to suit all ages and walks of life. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and breathtaking coastline.
Within easy reach is the heart of Snowdonia, a renowned walkers paradise, the remote beauty and sandy beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula and Angleseys variety of attractions. The historical castles of Caernarfon, Criccieth, Harlech, Beaumaris and Penrhyn are all nearby.
Other attractions include Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Portmeirion Italianate village, Nant Gwrtheyrn, Inigo Jones Slateworks, National Slate Museum Llanberis and Electric Mountain.
Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon, is within easy reach along with a variety of other mountain ranges and walks. The trains at Snowdon Mountain Railway, Llanberis Lake Railway, Welsh Highland Heritage Railway, Porthmadog are all great days out.
The larger towns of Caernarfon, Bangor, Llandudno, Porthmadog and Pwllheli are close to hand along with many smaller villages which offer a wide selection of boutiques and eateries.
