There are nine log cabins overlooking the lake that offer tranquil self-catering breaks all year round. Each has a living area, a dining area, and a well equipped kitchen. Each is spacious and boasts beautiful furnishings and dcor. The lodges have different room and bed arrangements so you can choose the one that fits your needs. They have detached bathrooms with a shower or a bath. Some of the lodges are pet-friendly so you can holiday with your four-legged friend.
If you want to pamper yourself, book Glaslyn or Teigl lodge. Glaslyn has a hot tub you can relax in after a tiring day. Teigl is equipped with a sauna to help you relax your muscles and soothe body aches and pains.
Cooking enthusiasts will be delighted by the amenities in the kitchens. The kitchen in each lodge has a microwave, a toaster, an oven, a kettle, a fridge, and a washing machine. You can cook up a storm or warm food when youre too tired to cook. Outdoors is a mobile barbeque you can use when the weather is nice. The lodges are warm throughout the year thanks to central heating. Bed linens and duvets are provided and beds are made prior to your arrival. If youre holidaying with young children, request for cots and highchairs.
If you love fishing, youll enjoy your time here. In fact, youll enjoy yourself so much you may not want to leave. Outside the lodges is a 6-acre fishing lake filled with coarse fish. The lake is classified as a commercial fishery and is regularly featured on TV.

If mountain climbing is your thing, try climbing Snowdon, Wales highest mountain. If you simply want to explore the area, try mountain biking in Coed-y-Brenin, go white water rafting at Bala Lake, or take a leisurely walk (there are numerous walks in the area).
Visit the amazing Lleyn Peninsula and see its sunny coast that attracts wake boarders, walkers, and dinghy sailors. Take a boat trip to Bardsey Island and discover what its all about. The island has been sacred for many generations. In medieval times, it was a point of Christian pilgrimage. It is rumoured that 20,000 saints are buried here. It is also a sanctuary for wildlife.
Criccieth town and Llanystumdwy village are also worth a visit. You can shop during the day, enjoy a great meal, and sample the nightlife. The coastal towns in this area are filled with superb attractions that are bound to make you linger.
