Bryn Tyrch Inn Capel Curig is set amidst the magnificent scenery

bar. Our reputation as 'a lively country pub' is
well deserved. Guests can choose from a variety of dining areas,

All our food is prepared on-site by our in-house chefs, using fresh local Welsh produce where available. High quality and varied dishes are served in the informal atmosphere of our bar or terrace room and vegetarians and vegans are well catered for. We are well-known for our meals so please come early at busy times. We are also happy to cater for functions and special events - please ring to discuss your individual requirements.
Have a drink in our traditional bar-room and take in the beauty and spectacular views of Mount Snowdon and Moel Siabod. Relax in front of the fireplace on the comfy sofas, or outside in the garden by the river. Enjoy excellent locally brewed real ales from the Great Orme Brewery, continental beers and fine wines. We also provide cafetieres of coffee and speciality teas, and make our own cappuccinos, lattes and hot chocolates.
All ten bedrooms at the Bryn Tyrch are ensuite, and the majority have recently been restored to a high standard, furnished with natural oak and local slate where appropriate. They feature television, hot drinks tray, and hairdryer. For those on a more modest budget a luxury four-person bunkroom with ensuite shower room is now available.

From the North West. From the M56 follow signs for A55 Westbound toward Conwy. At junction 19 take the A470 heading south following signs for Betws-y-Coed. Turn right to join the A5 towards Bangor just outside Betws and continue for six miles to Capel Curig. As you leave the 30mph Capel Curig speed limit zone, we are situated 500 yards further on the right.
From the South. From the M54 follow signs for A5. Once on the A5 continue until you reach Betws-y-Coed. Go through Betws-y-Coed. Capel Curig is six miles further along the A5. As you leave the 30mph Capel Curig speed limit zone, we are situated 500 yards further on the right.
From the East. From Holyhead follow signs for A55. Continue over the Britannia Bridge and take the exit for A5 signposted Betws-y-Coed and Llanberis. Continue on the A5 through Bethesda until you reach Capel Curig. As the road bends, we are 500 yards further on the left with parking opposite on the right. |
