In the village of Pantperthog, just a couple of miles north of Machynlleth (the ancient capital of wales) and 200 yards away from the Centre for Alternative Technology, is Llwyngwern Guest House. Set back from a quiet lane, the house is surrounded by 4 acres of grounds which are very attractively laid out. The gardens are a real delight in May when the Azaleas are in full bloom.
The house was built in the mid 1700's and was once the home of the Marchioness of Londonderry.

The house is spacious with a charming interior with many original features there are 12 spacious letting rooms with high ceilings a feature of the period and 2 ensuite rooms. Guests are welcome to use the large T V / reading lounge, and a full continental breakfast is served in the breakfast room.
