In the village of Pantperthog, just a couple of miles north
of Machynlleth (the ancient capital of wales) and 200 yards away
from the Centre for Alternative Technology, is Llwyngwern Guest
House. Set back from a quiet lane, the house is surrounded by
4 acres of grounds which are very attractively laid out. The
gardens are a real delight in May when the Azaleas are in full
bloom.
The house was built in the mid 1700's and was once the home
of the Marchioness of Londonderry.
