Situated on a leafy lane in the forest, yet only a 5 minute stroll from the hustle and bustle of Betws y Coed with its many fine restaurants and shops. This handsome Victorian residence thoroughly modernised three years ago, yet retaining the classical elegance of a period country house is within 3 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and has ample parking. Wonderful walks through the forest start at the front door with the famous Marin Trail passing by.
Recently renovated to a high standard with modern en-suite bathrooms offering a choice of double, twin or family rooms all complete with double glazing, central heating, sky tv with dvd, fridge with generous hospitality tray. The new en-suite bathrooms have heated towel rail and a range of complementary toiletries. A reading room with maps, brochures, local and general reading books and a selection of dvds together with an elegant lounge with wood burning stove offer the perfect place to relax away from the bedroom.
There is a train service in the village that links with the Holyhead/London service and the famous narrow gauge steam railway and an excellent bus service together with the popular Sherpa Mountain bus if you wish to leave your car at home.
Snowdonia offers more diversity than other National Parks and is not as crowded - choose from beaches, castles, mines, railways, gardens, historical houses, adventure days or just chill out!
