Tyddyn Syr Huw is a 150 year old farmhouse situated
on the fringe of Snowdonia National Park. The situation of the house provides
private fishing on the river Gwyrfai, outstanding mountain views and forest
walks.
Tyddyn Syr Huw is set in 24 acres of land and is a working farm, with breeding
pigs and cattle plus Jess our friendly sheepdog.
Tyddyn Syr Huw is situated within easy reach of many
attractions, Caernarfon with its old town walls, harbour and its famous castle.
beddgelert the winning village of bloom, and has gelerts grave, the dog who
was slain by his master Prince Llewelyn by mistake. The rock pools are ideal
for picnic and paddle. There is a home-made ice-cream shop also art craft
studio. The author of Rupert the Bear once lived in Beddgelert.
Walking points include Mount Snowdon and Moel Elio.
Within walking distance is the village of Waunfawr, which has a public house
which provides good pub food, and has a family room and play area with bouncing
castle. There is also a halt for the newly opened Welsh Highland Railway.
The village also has a chip shop and post office and grocery shop. Pony trekking
and climbing centres are also close to the village. There is also plenty of
parking available, also for a small boat. You can also bring a horse, as stables
are available at extra charge.

linen is put on the beds each let & calor gas is included in the price.
There is a also a garden with patio furniture for you to sit and relax. Pets
are welcome.
