Detached 15th Century Cottage with fantastic views at Waunfawr, Edge of Snowdonia National Park. Sleeps up to 8 + cot and high chair - 6 people in the main house and 2 in the annexe. Pet Welcome. This beautiful Welsh cottage is situated on a working hill farm in a delightful country setting and features many original 'olde-worlde' charms including original beamed ceilings, rugged stone walls and a gorgeous inglenook fireplace. Private garden with patio furniture and a built in barbecue. The village of Waunfawr (5 minutes walk) has a pub/hotel, take-away, riding stables and is home to the new narrow gauge Welsh Highland Railway which runs to Beddgelert. The beaches at Dinas Dinlle and Anglesey are easily accessible. IDEAL FOR WALKING ENTHUSIASTS. Ample private parking.
Accommodation: Lounge (featuring a wood-effect burner set in a beautiful inglenook fireplace, colour t.v. with FREEVIEW, DVD Player, video and cd/hi-fi), Elevated dining area with family-size dining table/chairs, Fully-equipped Kitchen (incl. fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/hob and washing machine), Utility Room with tumble dryer, 4 Bedrooms - a double bedroom (1d) on the ground floor, upstairs to a twin (2s) and a double (1d) and the fourth bedroom is in an annexe to the main house and contains a double bed (1d) with and en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin - ideal for grandparents etc!, Bathroom (with shower above the bath, toilet, washbasin and heated towel rail). Mostly double-glazed. Electricity by meter reading. Storage heaters throughout. Bed linen provided FREE. Owing to the very high quality of dcor/furnishings in the cottage a 'good house-keeping deposit' of £100 required at time of booking, refunded at the end of the holiday pending inspection.
