There is direct access to the lake and the large shingle beach/launching area is very convenient for sailing canoeing and fishing.
This Bala Campsite is situated just off the A494, 3 miles SW of Bala. There is a foot/bike path from the park to Bala and also a bus stop at the entrance. The small market town of Bala has numerous small shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre with swimming pool, cinema and a watersports centre. Nearby activities include white water rafting & canoeing, quad biking, 4 x 4 off roading, paintballing, canyon walking & abseiling.
The Caravan & Campsite facilities include plentiful modern toilets and free hot showers, laundry and washing up room, camp shop and large children's playground.
