Valley View Cottages - Boncath
Valley View cottages at Boncath consists of 4 recently converted cottages set in the wonderful and unspoilt rolling countryside of Pembrokeshire, West Wales with wide-ranging views over the surrounding hills, farmland, woodlands and the famous river Teifi Valley, well-known for its fishing and scenery.
These stunning cottages are situated in North Pembrokeshire down a private farm track off a quiet country lane. Just 3 miles from the charming village of Cenarth on the River Teifi, famous for its stunning waterfalls. The towns of Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn are 15 minutes away and the striking sandy bay of Poppit Sands is just 20 minutes away.
These dog-friendly, self-catering holiday cottages have been carefully renovated to a high standard from a traditional old stone barn, circa. 1800. They provide a relaxing sancutuary from the hustle and bustle of modern day life in an peaceful location, nestling in the Pembrokeshire countryside.
The cottages provide outstanding accommodation for 1 - 6 people and are equipped for your comfort all year round, each cottage has modern fixtures/fittings and appliances, from a corkscrew to a dishwasher and full central heating. Each cottage also has its own private enclosed garden with patio furniture and secure play area for children.
Woodpecker Barn
A two-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 4 people plus cot. The open plan living / kitchen area along with the main bathroom are situated on the ground floor. Two bedrooms on upper floor, one with double bed and one with twin beds. Also, a cloakroom is situated on the upper floor.
Red Kite Lodge
Another two-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 6 people plus cot. The open plan living/kitchen area on ground floor also bathroom and two bedrooms. Living area has a mezzanine floor giving an extra lounge area with sofa bed. One bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with triple sleeper bed.
Buzzards Watch
One-bedroom cottage on two-levels, with the open-plan living area/kitchen located upstairs with wonderful views across the valley. Downstairs is the large bedroom with king size bed and the bathroom.
Owl Cottage
One-bedroom cottage on two-levels, with the living area/kitchen positioned on the ground floor. Excellent views across the valley. Bathroom with bath and shower over. On the upper level is a spacious double bedroom.
All cottages have fitted kitchens, including oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washer/dryer.
Irons, hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Also, colour TVs with freeview, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are standard throughout.
All bedding, towels, heating and electricity are provided free of charge.
A stairgate, cot and highchair are available on request free of charge.
In addition to each cottage having its own enclosed garden, there is also an enclosed, child friendly communal garden.
A Valley View cottage is an excellent base for exploring West Wales, being close to the border of both Ceredigion (Cardiganshire) and Carmarthenshire. Sightseers Walkers Birdwatchers Photographers Artists Beach lovers Fisherman Golfers Horseriders Cyclists Canoeists. All will find plenty to do in the area. Equally for those who just want peace and quiet to relax in a tranquil setting, our holiday cottages can fit the bill.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are permitted in Woodpecker Barn and Red Kite Lodge and one well-behaved dog is permitted in Owl Cottage at an extra cost of £15 per week per dog no dogs permitted in Buzzards Watch.
There is also a separate enclosed dog garden with dustbin.
