The Hotel situated on the south side of Tudor Square, has the
proud history of being the Tenby home of Sir William Paxton.
This self made man of great vision developed the town into the
fine bathing spa of regency times, creating many of the attractive
and picturesque buildings that give the resort its unique character
to this day.
Originally a medieval coaching-inn known as "The
Globe Inn", this site was developed by Sir William Paxton
in 1802 as his home, following his return from India where he
made his fortune as a trading merchant.
Our Rooms
The serviced accommodation is of a high standard, with eighteen
en-suite bedrooms. The decor and soft furnishings have been carefully
selected to echo the grandeur and style of the Regency building.
