Mount Pleasant Bed and Breakfast - Moylegrove
Set in four acres of beautiful grounds, Mount Pleasant B&B is an extended 150 year old fisherman's cottage in the quaint, peaceful and unspoiled village of Moylegrove, just a few minutes walk from the sea at Ceibwr Bay.The village itself is located in the wonderful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park at the very quiet and sparsely populated northern end of the county.
If you are looking for somewhere to getaway and relax, to commune with nature, look no further - Mount Pleasant and Moylegrove provides exactly that.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming, relaxing stay in a picturesque village setting and cosy convenient accommodation that is as self-contained as possible. We are not a commercial establishment, this is our home and our en-suite guest rooms are furnished and presented as for friends and family. We have terraced gardens with lots of outside sitting area set in 4 acres of ground that guests are welcome to enjoy.
Rooms
Mount Pleasant offers two guest rooms :-
The first is a twin bedroom- with en-suite facilities and TV. Positioned at the end of the house, with its own entrance ensuring complete privacy. It has an adjoining utility/boot room with hanging and drying facilities available if needed.
The second is a relaxing double bed/sitting room including en- suite facilities and 32" TV.
A large garden with three terraced areas and lots of seating situated in four acres of ground is available for guests to enjoy.
We offer an extensive breakfast menu including The Full Welsh - much the same as the full English! - and vegetarian options.
The Area
With a wide selection of attractions and activities on our doorstep, whether you enjoy walking, cycling, fishing, golf or just relaxing on the beach, Mount Pleasant is a perfect base for your holiday in Pembrokeshire.
There are also several places of historic interest and the area is teeming with wildlife. A wide variety of species including birds such as Buzzards and Red Kites are often found along with Seals and Dolphins seen from the cliff tops.
Just half a mile from the coast at Ceibwr Bay with its small beach and dramatic cliffs you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and walk some of the stunning route that runs a total of 186 miles, all the way from Poppit Sands in the north to Amroth in the south. A few miles inland the remarkable Preseli Hills - the source of the Blue Dolerite stones which make up Stonehenge offer many further walking opportunities.
For cyclists there are miles and miles of quiet rural lanes and tracks where you can enjoy the peaceful Pembrokeshire countryside at your own pace. Secure storage for bicycles IS available.
If you enjoy fishing you can do so along the coast or if you prefer fresh water anglers can fish the famous River Teifi for trout and many other species. Courses in fly fishing are available for beginners.
For golfers there are beautiful seaside and country courses nearby open to guests.
In addition to the small beach at Ceibwr, we are just a few miles from the lovely sandy beaches at Poppit Sands and Newport where you can enjoy safe swimming and surfing.
