For a carefree holiday in Pembrokeshire, come to Torbant
- a 17th century farmhouse tastefully brought up to date with
all modern facilities.
We are peacefully situated near the ancient city
of St. David's and just 1.5 miles from the spectacular coast
with its variety of beautiful beaches, cliff walks and nature
reserves. In the spring and summer the whole area is ablaze
with wild flowers, and it is also a paradise for bird lovers.
Torbant offers bed and breakfast, using mainly home grown
and local produce - fresh eggs from our own hens, home made
marmalade etc.
We have just 2 rooms, both en-suite, with beverage
trays and T.V. There is also a guest's lounge with plenty of
books and information, and a utility room for laundry and picnic
preparation.
For the evening meal, there is a wide variety
of eating places within easy reach of Torbant - from pubs to
high-class restaurants, details with menus are listed in each
room.
Whitesands Bay is typical of the many beautiful beaches near
Torbant, in the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park. with
180 miles of coastal footpath, the area is noted for its abundance
of wildlife. The Atlantic grey seal breeds here, and the cliffs
are massed with a great variety of sea birds and wildflowers.
Swimming, surfing, golf, and pony riding are just some of
the many pursuits available nearby.
