Conwy Accommodation Rhiwiau Isaf B&B Llanfairfechan Rhiwiau Isaf B&B is ideally situated here in North Wales 600 feet up in a secluded valley with mountains to the rear, views overlooking the Menai Straits and Isle of Anglesey and less than 5 minutes from the A55. We have been family owned and run since 1972.
There are four family rooms available, all en-suite and with Hot / Cold water, Tea making facilities and TV's. Llanfairfechan is a quiet seaside town in a central position on the North Wales coastline and on the main coastal route (A55 expressway) between Conwy and Bangor. There are good coach and rail services. Guests can be met at Llanfairfechan (free of charge), Bangor or Llandudno Junction by our local taxi firm at preferential rates.
Arrangements
can be made to meet continental visitors at Manchester or Liverpool
Airport by taxi or guests can take the train link from
the airport to Manchester Victoria Rail Station with a direct line
to Bangor. Visitors arriving in London take the underground to Euston,
with excellent rail links to Bangor. A taxi can be arranged to meet
guests at the Port of Holyhead. The centre is situated in an ideal position in the hills 600 ft above sea level, and is surrounded by the beauty of the Welsh countryside. The levels of walking are suitable for all visitors, from the serious walker to the gentle ambler. Several walks start from our door, or why not enjoy a stroll through our 17 acres of woodland and gardens. We provide maps for established routes although we do not offer guided walks. Llanfairfechan is renowned for its walks which suit all ages and abilities. Rhiwiau Isaf B&B also serves as an ideal base for high level mountain walks up to the Carneddau range, with such challenging peaks as, Tal-y-Fan(2001 ft), Drum(2529ft), Foel Fras(2092 ft), Carnedd Dyfydd (3425ft) and Carnedd Llwelyn (3484ft), all in the Snowdonia National Park. For walks further afield, the Sherpa and other local bus services combine with the Conwy Valley Railway service from Llandudno Juction as an alternative to using the car. Combined tickets are available. The area contains a number of places of interest including castles, National Trust houses, Betws-y-coed and Snowdonia, marine and bird reserves, golden beaches on Anglesey, beautiful gardens, theatres, water sports, zoos, dry ski slopes, 10-pin bowling, golf, fishing and horse riding.
Tariffs - per person per night £27.50 per person per night . 3 or more nights there is a discount.
3 course evening meal including coffee are £12.50.
