See the Gloddfa Ganol Slate Mine in Blaenau Ffestiniog, walk the enormous caverns that were blasted out by miners working by candlelight, visit the craft shop.

powers station. Walk through the village of Portmeirion the Italianted
village with its spectacular building which featured in the long
running television series "The Prisoner". Visit the Great
Orme hill at Llandudno, travel by cable drawn tram, or be daring
and take the cable car. Take an evening ride on the Ffestiniog "Jazz
