The Star Inn at Talybont-on-Usk offers B&B accommodation in two en-suite rooms with colour TVs and beverage trays both sleeping up to three people. Situated in a remarkably beautiful setting, the Inn has a reputation for serving a very fine and constantly changing selection of real ales and good home cooked food at reasonable prices. The Star Inn has previously been awarded CAMRA pub of the year.

The large beer garden at the rear of the inn overlooking the river is extremely popular, weather permitting, and has the Brecon to Monmouth Canal passing along the top of the garden. Every Wednesday evening you can enjoy live bands performing at the Inn.This area of Mid Wales is popular with ramblers and those who enjoy many outdoor activities.

The Brecon Beacons National Park offers a network of over a thousand miles of public footpaths including bridle ways and cycle routes. Local activities you may like to try:
