Crickhowell is in the beautiful valley of the River Usk set in the Black Mountains. It is ideally situated between Brecon and Abergavenny, two renowned market towns.

There is plenty to do in the area ranging from pont trekking, fishing for salmon and trout, to adventure holidays, paragliding, hang gliding, caving, canoeing, and yachting at Llangorse Lake or Hill Walking.

Local places of interest include the Big Pit Mining Museum where you can actually experience what is was like to work in a coal mine. other attractions include Abergavenny Castle and the Newport to Brecon Canal.
