The farmhouse dates back to the 17th century. It has been carefully renovated to enhance many original features - inglenook fireplaces, stonework & exposed beams, which compliment family antiques. Guest rooms have been tastefully co-ordinated & are equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, clock/radio & hair dryer.

Come and be inspired by the spectacular views, walk the hills, tour the quiet lanes and villages, fish the Rivers Usk and Wye, see new horizons on horseback and then relax in peace. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains offer endless walking opportunities. Maps and routes are on hand to help you on your way. The National Park run excellent guided walks to take you to special places you might not otherwise find. Visitors return again and again to enjoy the numerous outdoor pursuits: Pony Trekking, Climbing, Gliding, Caving, Hang Gliding, Mountain Biking, Canoeing etc.
Directions:
From Brecon Take A40 West after 2 miles pass through the village of Llanspyddid.
Immediately after village you will pass large lay by on your right until picnic tables/toilets.
Penwern is the first farm quarter of a mile on the right hand side of the A40.
