Milebrook House Hotel - Knighton
Welcome to Milebrook House Riverside Hotel Knighton
Milebrook House is a family run hotel situated on the river in the heart of the Marches amidst the typical wooded rolling hills in the beautiful Teme valley.
We enjoy the ultimate borderland location, situated 2 miles from the picturesque market town of Knighton, 12 miles from the busy market town of Ludlow with its mediaeval castle, beautiful architecture and famous market.
Across the river are the Shropshire hills which have been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", a mile or so from the Herefordshire border, famous for its black and white villages, cider and Herefordshire beef.
Our local town (2 miles), Knighton - Tref-y-Clawdd - is the only town on Offa's Dyke.
Glyndwr's Way begins at the clock tower in the centre of the town, it's no wonder Knighton is a mecca for walkers and ramblers.
Milebrook House was once the home of Sir Wilfred Thesiger the famous writer and explorer.
Milebrook is also the perfect place to stay for birdwatchers, a cycling holiday or for both the amateur and professional photographer with fantastic scenery and wildlife all around.
For those who wish to arrive by train we can arrange transport to the hotel, just ask for details when you book.
