This lovely holiday home is set in a mature garden which provides unique views of Cardigan Bay and the Aeron Valley. It also benefits from 3 patios, 3 lawns and a 2 vehicle gated driveway.
Internal Self Catering Description: A light, comfortable home which provides: two double bedrooms on the first floor (one with adjoining powder room). Also on the ground floor: Single room (with bunk beds), Bathroom (with shower), fully fitted Kitchen (with breakfast bar to seat 3), Dining Area (for 6) at a large picture window; Lounge (which seats 6).
External Description: Private mature garden with: flower borders, apple and plum tree, blackcurrant bush, herb garden (help yourself , if you require some for cooking!), 3 patios, 3 lawns and a 2 vehicle gated driveway.
General Description: The property has a combination boiler which in turn provides oil fired central heating and instant hot water. Inclusive within the rental price quoted will be: bed linen; a set of towels per person, shampoo; conditioner; shower gel; soap; 2 kitchen tea towels, tea; coffee; milk and sugar; oil; heating, electricity and welcome tea on arrival.
A change of linen and personal coastal tour services can be provided at an additional charge if booked prior to arrival. Alternatively, you will find a local bus service operating from the centre of town, which will take you up or down the coast, as well as a reliable local family Taxi firm just down the road.
Aberaeron is located on the A487, mid way between the University town of Aberystwyth to the north and Cardigan in the south and is well placed for Ceredigions beaches, mountains and countryside as well as being central for day trips to all parts of Wales.
Ceredigions stunning heritage coastline with its International Blue Flag, Green Coast and Seaside Award winning beaches, coastal paths and the superb marine wildlife of Cardigan Bay (with seals, birdlife and bottlenose dolphins) are just minutes away. Inland, the National Trusts Llanerchaeron mansion is a leisurely stroll through the Aeron Valley.
Beaches the Blue Flag Beach at Poppit Sands is a glorious stretch of beach with sand dunes. There is a caf on the beach, which is open throughout most of the year. A good bathing beach with life guards and warning flags. Mwnt Beach is owned by the National Trust and the headland overlooks a small and secluded sandy beach. A tiny 14th Century church stands on the headland and is well worth a visit. There are views of Cardigan Island from the cliffs.
