Welcome to Borth self catering cottages our holiday and short break accommodation in West Wales, Northfield holiday cottages on the coast of cardigan bay, Ceredigion.
EDGELEY COTTAGE BORTH SLEEPS 6
Edgeley is an extremely comfortable, well-equipped three-bedroom bungalow located in a quiet, peaceful, residential area at the rear of the main Cliff Road in Upper Borth. A short walk over the top of the cliff brings you down to Aberwennol Bay, a small, rocky cove - away from the main beach and perfect for a quiet picnic.
Edgeley has its own private, walled back garden and lawn with a paved patio area and brick-built barbecue. A picnic table and deck chairs are also provided.
Alongside the bungalow there is a large secure garage for your car with extra space in the driveway for a second car if required.
The bungalow is centrally heated and double glazed. It is beautifully furnished throughout and provides the following accommodation:-
A double bedroom with king-size bed, a twin bedroom and a bedroom with full size bunk beds. All bedding is provided.
A fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, larder fridge freezer, dual fuel range cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. An iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner are also available.
A large, spacious lounge with a colour TV, DVD player and CD player and ceiling fan.
The bathroom/WC has a full size bath and separate shower cubicle.
SILVER RIDGE COTTAGE BORTH SLEEPS 6
Silver Ridge is an exceedingly comfortable, well-equipped three-bedroom dormer bungalow located in a quiet, peaceful residential area at the rear of the main Cliff Road in Upper Borth. It is double glazed and heated by electricity throughout. It is attractively furnished and provides the following accommodation:
Ground floor: Double bedroom with twin beds. CD player in the bedroom.
Fully fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer, large stainless steel electric range cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, Kettle, coffee maker and toaster. There is also a breakfast table with chairs in the kitchen.
In the utility room you will find a washing machine and tumble drier, an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.
The open plan lounge and dining room have beautiful views across the houses to the sea and the beach and the mountains beyond. There is a large colour TV with a DVD player and there are books for adults and games for children in the cupboard. The dining table which was hand made from reclaimed Rhodesian teak will seat six people comfortably and there is a convenient serving hatch through to the kitchen.
The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over and sliding glass doors. The WC is separate
Because the property is split level, there are only six wide shallow steps leading up to the first floor, and there is a handrail.
First Floor: Two sunny double bedrooms with double beds. From the back bedroom there are views across the sea to the North Wales coast.
Outside there is a large integral garage with room for an additional two cars in the driveway, and there is a wide front garden with lawn and flower beds. A flat concrete path leads up to the front door to assist mothers with pushchairs or those with mobility problems.
To the rear the sliding doors from the dining room lead out on to a patio with views of the sea and the mountains. One step leads down to a small lawn surrounded by flowers and shrubs and a further step leads to three large lawned areas where children can play in safety. In front of the utility room, there is a large gravelled area with a picnic table to seat six, as well as some deckchairs for your use. The rear of the property is completely enclosed and gated to stop children running into the front of the property and into the street.
Please note pets are not allowed in either property.
