Pantglas Cottage offer Self Catering Holidays.

The ivy clad cottage adjoins the farmhouse nestled in the rolling hills of Carmarthenshire in South West Wales close to many attractions such as Aberglasney and the Gower coast. The rich fishing rivers of the Towy & Cothi (Licences available by request) are on either side of the farm.

It has been the home of Janet and her family Rhys, Bethan & Howel for 23years. The 360 acre dairy & sheep farm is only 15 minutes from the M4, and head South East and you are only 45 minutes away from the Welsh capital Cardiff. Whilst staying here you are close to many glorious beaches along the West Wales coastline of Pembrokeshire & Cardigan many scenic walks and all the wildlife that can be found there like the Dolphins of Cardigan Bay.

If you are looking for a rural & relaxing retreat then you need go no further than the farm and garden with Bar B Q and local walks around the village of Llanfynydd where you will find the village shop and two inns where good food is served daily. Pantglas is a very restful place but not remote.

For those of you who like a hands on holiday then join in with the feeding of the calves, experience the milking of the dairy herd and help collect the eggs from around the farm yard. For the more adventurous golf, horse riding & mountain biking are not far away head off for Mid Wales and the Brecon Beacons national park.

The cottage adjoins the farmhouse and is set in ½ an acre of a country cottage garden with ample parking for three cars, a patio area to sit and relax and enjoy a barbeque.

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, fridge and electric cooker. An oak beamed archway separates the dinning room with oak dinning table, six chairs and a welsh dresser. The spacious lounge has an original oak beam, log burner, T V, DVD and freeview tuner. The three piece suite, décor and lighting make this room very comfortable and cosy.

The stairs from the lounge to the first floor accommodation have child safty gates fitted top and bottom. We also have a high chair and a cot.There are two large bedrooms, one double with T V and one family room with three single beds furnished in antique pine, portable T V on request. The bathroom has shaving point, fitted shower and bath all towels and linen provided.

Directions
From M4 take the A48 from the Pont Abraham services towards Carmarthen through Cross Hands on reaching Carmarthen take the A40 towards Llanideilo for 6 miles pass through the village of Pont ar Gothi (land mark blind hump back bridge) on leaving the village turn left sign posted llanfynydd 5 miles, after 3 miles Pantglas is the first turning on the right after a long row of farm buildings.

From the A40 Brecon, llandovery, llandeilo, after travelling along the llandeilo by- pass on the A40 for 3 miles, travel to Dryswlyn cross roads sign posted llanynydd turn right (land mark Mazda garage) travel through the village of Cwrt Henri for 2 miles when you pass the entrance to Pantglas leisure club take the next left Pantglas farm cottage is just 250 yards on the left.
