Jac Y Do is nestled at the end of a small cul-de-sac, the self catering cottage accommodates up to eight people in comfort and style. The rear of the property has views and access across the open fields of Parc Stephens and is only a short walk from Kidwelly town centre.
The railway station and historic quay are just a short walk. A number of attractive short walks around the town are easily accessible from Jac-y-Do and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney, Ffos Las racecourse, Pembrey motor racing circuit, Pembrey Country Park are all just a short drive away.
Enclosed Cottage Garden
Jac-y-Do has a fully enclosed lawned garden with a patio, garden furniture, barbeque for al fresco dining and access to playing fields. Alongside the property there is off-street parking for 1 car and the bungalow is wheelchair accessible.
Self Catering Accommodation
A short path leads to the double-glazed porch of Jac-y-Do and its large entrance hall.
The large, airy modern kitchen is fully fitted and includes a split level cooker with oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and clothes dryer, microwave, toaster and a DAB radio. Sliding patio doors provide access to the patio and garden whilst internal doors connect to the hallway and dining area.
Spacious Lounge / Dining Area
The spacious lounge/dining area has wooden flooring and contains a dining table which comfortably seats eight people alongside a stylish wood-burning stove and two cosy armchairs. Sliding patio doors provide views across the garden and Parc Stephens. Through a wide archway is a carpeted lounge with an inviting seating area and a large flat screen TV and BluRay DVD player. Jac-y-Do is fitted with Wi-Fi.
4 Ground Floor Bedrooms
The property contains four bedrooms, all on the same level, which can comfortably accommodate up to seven people. The master bedroom is at the rear of the property and has peaceful views into the garden. It contains a king size bed and handsome, modern oak bedroom furniture. There is a matching sink and vanity unit within the bedroom and an en-suite toilet and shower.
Bedroom two is at the front of the bungalow and has a double bed and stylish, modern oak furniture. This is adjacent to bedroom four, a cosy single room. Bedroom three is a spacious room, also at the front of the property, which has two generous single beds which can be combined to form a super-king size bed and oak bedroom furniture. These rooms share the airy family bathroom which has a shower over bath.
Dogs are welcome at our Kidwelly Holiday Cottage Jac Y Do but are not allowed in the bedrooms or up onto furniture. They must not be left in the property unattended at any time and owners will need to bring their own dog bedding and feeding bowls.
