Golden Grove Cottages are family run self-catering holiday cottages, comprising of three traditional stone holiday cottage and barns, all beautifully furnished. The owners take pride on the small touches which make all the difference to your stay.
Golden Grove village with its historic mansion and deer park is approximately one mile from the cottages and about three and half from the vibrant market town of Llandeilo.
The ancient market town of Llandeilo is located in the heart of the Towy Valley. The small but popular and thriving town has an attractive selection of individual shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.
The area also offers fabulous woodland walks which start straight from the front door and excellent mountain bike trails for the more active guest. Whatever type of break you're looking for these Carmarthenshire cottages are the perfect base.
Accommodation
Sewin Cottage (Sleeps 4)
This beautifully furnished and spacious cottage offers two large bedrooms with dual aspect patio doors opening out onto the gardens with stunning views down the valley below. Both bedrooms contain kingsize beds.
The cottage also includes a DVD player, 37 plasma TV, digibox, Sony PS2 and music system.
There is ample parking for guests and comes with outside seating with picnic bench and BBQ. Storage is also available for bikes, fishing rods..
The kitchen / breakfast room offers a great socialising space for family and friends its also furnished to a high standard.
The Barns Barcud and Gwennol (Sleeps 4/4)
These newly converted barns have been furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard.
The layouts of both barns are very similar (apart from the sitting room in Gwennol which has a patio door leading out to the gardens) with the following description:
Ground Floor
Kitchen/Dining Room is fitted with a range of Oak units with a granite work top, an electric oven with a ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave oven and washing machine and fabulous views over the valley! The dining area has a dining table with 4 chairs.
Sitting Room has a beautiful arched window and exposed stone walls. Furnished with a corner sofa unit and a comfy chair, coffee table and a 37 wall mounted plasma TV with DVD / CD player.
There are two en-suite bedrooms, both have 3 zipnlink bed which when zipped make a 6 super king size bed.
Bedrooms 1 is downstairs and has a super king size bed (please let us know if you require two singles), bedside tables, dressing chair, wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom which comprises of a white suite of bath with shower over, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
First Floor
Bedroom 2 is furnished with two single beds (please let us know if the super king size is required), bedside tables, dressing chair and wardrobe. There is an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.
Garden and Parking
The open plan grounds consist of attractive planting and lawned areas. Each cottage has its own private patio to the fore of the cottage with exquisite views and furnished with a strong picnic bench and BBQ.
There is sufficient parking space for two cars.
For large group booking - Although Barcud and Gwennol are seperate barns, they can become one large four bedroom cottage via an interconnecting door.
Please note
There is oil fired central heating throughout which is included from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times. Electricity is included. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available. Towels are included on arrival. One well behaved pet is welcome.
