Hosts Marj and Rose take pride in making sure your stay is a comfortable and pleasant one, in fact its their sole reason for running a bed and breakfast.
As well as extremely comfortable beds, en suite facilities in all rooms and the amenities you would expect from 4 Star accommodation, the hosts like to go that little bit further and provide those extras which make the difference such as help with luggage .
Cream teas are also available between 1 and 5 pm, with our own home made scones and fresh cornish clotted cream etc.
The establishment boasts a purpose built extension which was added to the existing home to provided three en suite bedrooms, a delightful breakfast room and a comfortable lounge with T.V. and Wi Fi connection.
Guests can expect their own private off road car park and all guests are provided with their own keys so that they can come and go as they please. A secure lock-up garage for cycles, golf bags, fishing gear etc if also available with drying facilities for those days when it may rain.
The hosts main emphasis throughout has been on quality and comfort and nothing has been left to chance. The large garden surrounding the property is not only a sanctuary for wild life but offers wonderful views of Laugharne, the estuary and the Norman castle. Guests are encouraged to make use of the patio or wander around the garden taking in the stunning surrounding area.
Rooms
The two double rooms on the first floor offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
A twin room is also available on the ground floor. All rooms are available for single occupancy.
As well as tremendously comfortable beds, all rooms offer en suite facilities, extra toiletries, spare linen, towels, radio alarm clock, digital T.V., hairdryer and iron.
To make your stay even more comfortable tea & coffee making facilities, fresh milk, biscuits, bottled Welsh water, chocolates and a complementary glass of wine are provided on arrival.
Breakfast
Breakfasts are cooked to order with fresh local produce where possible such as free range eggs obtained from a local farm. A variety of cereals, muesli, fresh fruit and fruit juice is followed by a generous full Welsh breakfast or our ever popular smoked salmon with scrambled eggs etc. as part of the menu.
Homemade jams and marmalades are served with organic brown or white bread and there is, of course, a bottomless tea or coffee pot. Hot toast is also available.
For those wishing to make an early start to catch a ferry or keep an appointment, we are happy to provide an earlier breakfast arranged in advance.
Packed lunches are also available for a small fee of £5.00
The Area
The beautiful historic township of Laugharne with its Norman castle, stunning estuary and famous Dylan Thomas Boathouse is nearby and a short car journey away are some of the finest beaches in Wales, lovely walks along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and magnificent castles.
