Llangefni is the principal town on the Isle of Anglesey housing the local council offices, a sport’s and leisure centre, 9 hole municipal golf course and The Oriel Mon art museum which displays some of Sir Kyffin Williams works who was born in the town in 1908. Llangefni also holds open air markets each Thursday and Saturday throughout the year.
The town lies on the banks of the River Cefni towards the centre of the Island just off the North Wales Coast accessible by the Menai Suspension Bridge or the Britannia road and rail bridge.
