Why not board a ferry to Ireland to explore the lively town of Dublin. The trip takes about 1 hour and 49 minutes. A breakwater shields the port from the Irish Sea. The southwest facing beach is perfect for family days out. It is located between Trearddur Bay and South Stack and has a lot of sand and rock pools. If you are holidaying with children, take them to build sandcastles and play buckets and spades. Porth Dafarch has a path that allows you to explore a rocky headland. Porth Dafarch beach is situated between Porth Dafarch and Rhoscolyn on Holy Island. It has rock pools and is protected by rocky headlands. It also has excellent water quality and is ideal for swimming, surfing, sailing, canoeing, and paddling. A path to the north leads you to Porth Dafarch and the South Stack Lighthouse while another one to the south leads you to Borthwen beach and Silver Bay at Rhoscolyn. The park is constructed in an ancient quarry at the bottom of Holyhead Mountain. It is a great spot for coastal walks. You can walk along the breakwater which is the longest in the UK (1¾ miles). Breakwater Country Park is filled with wildlife and awe-inspiring scenery. It has beautiful trails and a man-made lake where you can breathe in the refreshing sea air. South Stack is a small island located off Holy Island, home to one of Anglesey’s most popular sites, the South Stack Lighthouse. South Stack also houses impressive cliffs run by the RSPB. The cliffs are a sanctuary for birds and house more than 4,000 seabirds in summer. Holyhead bed and breakfasts & guesthouses place you near all the popular attractions. They are the perfect holiday spots for history buffs, wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers, and adventure seekers.
