Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island which has a truly spectacular coastline indented with rocky coves and sandy beaches. A great place for nature lovers with excellent bird watching and lots of rock pools to explore. Water sports, bathing, walking, fishing and sailing are the main activities during summer months. There are two local stables which offer treks and a unique experience to explore this wonderful coastline on horseback.
Golfers will enjoy the Holyhead 18 hole links golf course.
There are shops, pubs, restaurants, snooker hall and 9 hole golf course in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities with its out of town shopping complex, ferry port with day trips to Eire (99 minutes on the fast ferry) and the Ucheldre Centre for those with an interest in local art and culture, which also boasts a really good coffee shop.
