This charming Anglesey B&B is run by your hosts Bob and Heather where a warm welcome awaits. The Sportsmans Lodge B&B on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey offers guest accommodation with central heating, beverage trays, hairdryer, alarm clock and television. There is also a guest room with sky television. We also have a large family room and self contained one bedroomed holiday flat.
Free range hens and ducks provide the breakfast eggs to go with a full cooked breakfast to start the day.
New for 2011 walking with hawks, hands on experience, also wildlife photography and painting tuition available.
We cater for walkers using the coastal path and cyclists are most welcome, we can offer secure storage facilities for cycles and are located on one of the main cycle routes on Anglesey clearly signposted and only occasionally crossing A & B roads.
The Sportsmans Lodge B&B is within easy reach of many Anglesey heritage sites including Parys Mountain Copper Mine, Sail Heritage Centre, Amlwch Port and Llaneilian Church which dates back to the 12th Century AD. We are also near Cemaes Bay, Cemlyn Nature Reserve and the Anglesey Coastal Path. For those of you who like fishing, Llyn Alaw Reservoir, and sea fishing is available at both Cemaes Bay or Amlwch Port, where you can charter one of the fishing boats.
Horse riding and go carting are among other leisure activities available on the island.
We are also close to Bull Bay Golf Course and the Amlwch Leisure Centre.
The B&B also has a large paddock which is perfect for recreational games, barbecues, or simply relaxing. We have ample off road parking and the The Ring Country Inn is within
walking distance offering a friendly atmosphere, real Ale and good food.
