Welcome to Fir Tree Holiday Cottage in the pretty seaside village of Criccieth in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
This cosy and pretty little cottage is in the gardens of Nantyfelin Self Catering Cottages and Apartment and enjoys glimpses of the sea from its windows. It overlooks the patio at the side of the main house and there are garden chairs outside the cottage for you to use. The cottage has a stable door which is ideal for the summer months and this leads into the small hallway in Fir Tree.There are no steps into the property.We have Holly cottage also available which is slightly larger and also Nantyfelin holiday apartment which sleeps 2-10
The double bedroom is situated on the left side of the cottage with an en-suite shower room leading from it and the other side of the hallway leads to the kitchen and lounge/diner.
The kitchen has fridge ,freezer gas cooker ,microwave oven, washing machine and all the usual requirements in the modern kitchen and the lounge has comfy chairs and breakfast bar with bar chairs. If you prefer not to use the breakfast bar there are 2 tables for your use .There is also the television and dvd player in the lounge and dvds can be hired to watch from a local shop. All rooms are on the ground floor with no steps in property and it has full gas central heating.
All bedlinen is supplied free of charge but neither kitchen or personal towels are included.

Special and short breaks are available during the year so please enquire if you have a request for a certain requirement and we may be able to help.
Gas and electricity are read by meter readings on arrival and departure and charges at the current gas and electricity boards current price per unit. We also offer a reduced rate for seniors.
This area of North Wales has much to offer in the way of amenities and interesting places to visit and explore.
Portmeirion Village the well known Italiate village and dream of Sir Clough Williams-Ellis is 6 miles from Criccieth and certainly worth a visit as it was where The Prisoner was filmed some years ago.
Blaenau Ffestiniog has the slate caverns and you can ride a train into the deep cavern and see how the miners mined for the slate in the dark.
Caernarfon has a wonderful Castle where Prince Charles was made the Prince of Wales by his Mother the Queen. There is also another great castle to explore at Harlech which can be seen from the apartment windows.
Betwys y Coed has wonderful waterfalls and spectacular scenery as does Capel Curig and Llanberis where Snowdon stands proud into the skies. There is a railway track that runs up the mountain or you can climb to the top and enjoy the fabulous views of the lands.
