The holiday caravan is situated in the peaceful village of Llangwnadl overlooking farmland with panoramic sea views and spectacular sunsets. The nearest beach is Penllech. This is just over a mile away and has a small working harbour known as Porth Colmon.
Nearby, there is Whistling Sands beach, named for the noise the sand makes underfoot. This a lovely family beach and is only four miles away. There is also Porth Iago. This is three and a half miles away and is a beautifully secluded small sandy cove. In fact there are ten beaches within ten miles including Hells Mouth which is the best surfing beach in North Wales and the ever popular tourist and international sailing village of Abersoch. There is also the market town of Pwllheli for all your shopping requirements. Pwllheli also has an international marina and hosts various sailing events and is currently one of the venues for Olympic training.
The mountains and Lakes of Snowdonia National Park are also within easy reach being less than an hour away. This part of North Wales is also steeped in history and has numerous places of interest including Iron Age forts and spectacular Castles.
The picturesque village of Aberdaron is only five miles away with easy parking. Beautiful beach, swimming, fishing, windsurfing, walking, shops, bakery, two public houses and restaurant. There are boat trips to nearby Bardsey Island from a nearby harbour. There is also a magnificent coastal path around the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula where dolphins, seals and porpoise can regularly be seen.
