The White Hart Inn & Bunkhouse Talybont-on-Usk
Our Brecon Beacons Bunkhouse has a Welsh Tourists board 4 star rating; it can accommodate a total of twenty people in four different rooms. There are two rooms with four bunks in and two with six.
There are showers, toilets,also disabled facilities, a drying room, storage area for bikes and outdoor equipment including walking boots, kitchen and a dining room/communal area.
The cost is £18 per person per night and sleeping bags can be provided at a cost of £3 per person per stay (to cover dry cleaning cost).
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided and food and drinks are available in the pub below but there is a strict no alcohol policy in the bunk house. Please be aware we do not provide bed linen. A minimum booking of 17 people is required in order to have sole occupancy of the bunkhouse.
When you book you must pay for the amount of people you have booked for and not how many turn up. For example if you book for eight and only six turn up you must pay for the other two people. Evening meals for large parties are available but also must be booked in advance.
On the day of leaving the bunkhouse, you must be vacated by 10.30am unless prior arrangements are made.
Families with children, walkers, mountain bikers and sightseers are all welcome.
Situated in the middle of the picturesque village of Talybont-on-Usk, which lies between the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains, straddling the Brecon and Monmouth Canal.
The 4 star bunkhouse has a unique setting of being situated above the White Hart Inn, on the edge of the Brecon & Monmouth Canal, with the Taff Trail emerging to the side of the establishment.
